Color Based Settings
Is there a temperature setting rule of thumb based on filament color?
As in Black vs White.

The rule of thumb is:
Follow the manufacturer's suggestions, or use presets for that filament where available.
Only if there are issues do you need to worry about colour; some filaments, including white/pale/pastel, *might* be better printed a few degrees hotter than others in the same range.

I would start with the stock settings and if I run into issues, print a temperature tower.
