Change Material (TPU/PETG) At Height
I've done a lot of filament changes at different heights very successfully. But, now I want to change between two different materials (PETG/TPU). I found that I can use multiple extruders with Single Extruder Multi Material and switch extruders at a given height. However, when I actually printed it just finished printing at the extruder change. Plus the wipe tower is completely unnecessary so disabling that would be nice too.
So, how do I do a material change without a MMU just like a color change (but using the appropriate setting for the material)? I've seen a few threads suggesting the multiple extruder route is the way to go but nothing conclusive. I'll keep experimenting but it could be nice to have a documented/supported way of doing this.
