Change Infill and gaps

hello guys,

as you can see I tryed to set a different infill but PS created some gaps in the first layer and on the top layer; do you know how can I change the infill avoiding effects on the top/bottom layers?

thanks

RE: Change Infill and gaps

The gaps are from the modifier you are applying.  Basically it needs to not intersect with the shell at all.  Slicer is treating the 2 areas differently and so its path planning causes that discontinuity.

I think its actually a bug with the meshes. I seem to recall someone opened an issue over on github about it.

I think this is an current bug in PS.

My workaround is to avoid the modifier touching the top and bottom layer. Adjust the size of the modifier so he only affects the internal infill and move it some layer over the build plate. Its a bit a cumbersome procedure but it works
