cannot get scarf seam to work on cylinderical contour
Not sure why this isn't working but I'd like to put a scarf seam on this cylinderical part, but it doesn't seem to work. attached here are my settings in Prusa slicer and a preview of my sliced part. attached is my .3mf

It's working. The problem is, PrusaSlicer doesn't show the scarf seams in the seams preview, where every normal human being on this planet would expect it to be. No, you have to switch the legend to Volumetric Flow Rate or Actual Volumetric Flow Rate to see it.

Cant see a project file. You did zip it up didnt you ? The forum only allows a very limited number of file types. You have to zip up files like 3mf or stl etc or it silently drops them when you post.

RE:
Just too reiterate the information, @foxrun3d gave, Actual Volumetric Flow Rate is what you want to look at, It will show you visually what the Scarf joint settings are doing. I personally, would like to point out to you, that you could achieve these same seam results (at their best) long before, many years in fact, before scarf joints were implemented. It's just that most users never took the time to learn what the settings, before this Fad could do for them, "example" calibrating the extrusion multiplier, to name one, and there are others. If you want truly good almost nonexistent seams, your going to need to learn more then the Scarf Joint settings, A lot more.
Enjoy the journey,
Regards

Thank you for pointing this out. I had no idea that I had to switch the legend to Volumetric Flow Rate or Actual Volumetric Flow Rate to see it.
