can you view support in preview ?
I'm new to Prusaslicer, used Cura and other slicers for many years. I'm working on getting the slicer tuned to my printer, Makertoolworks MM3 IDEX. anyway the problem I'm having is a probably user error. I have a test print to tune the support settings. I have selected "Generate support Material" and " Auto generate supports" selected. the print is very simple, small 90 arch. With Cura I have support print under the arch. I'm not having any support printing at all with Prusaslicer. A second question, when I do get support printing will I see it in the preview window in Prusalicer ?
Thanks

You had support "Everywhere" selected, but you also had "Don't support bridges" ticked, remove the tick from Don't support bridges.
Another way to do this would be to use the paint tool and paint your supports on, then use "for support enforcers only" when using this combination you can leave "Don't support bridges" ticked, and PS will ignore it, and put support where you painted it, even on bridges.
RE: can you view support in preview ?
Yes support is shown in the preview window. Both the support itself and the support interface.
As for why you aren’t getting any, it’s possible the model doesn’t require any with the settings you are using.
If you save your project in Prusa Slicer, use file>save project as. Then take the 3mf produced , zip it up and attach it then someone can take a look. Must be zipped or the forum doesn’t accept the file.
A project is a snapshot so contains all your settings and is the best way to debug issues.

Here is the project (3mf) file. Thanks

Somebody should make a meme or GIF out of this...
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!
