Can I change the filament for support material in the slicer?

Hello everyone,

do any of you know how I can select the filament for support material in the slicer?
I have a differential print and need a water-soluble support material, but I can't find any information on how to set this.

Best Answer by JoanTabb:

when I add the Mk4S with MMU3, I get two options in the Print Settings window

Soluble  Full and Soluble interface, and then I add BVOH in extruder 5
and then I can set the filament options in Print Settings > Multiple Extruders

Can you see this?

regards  Joan

Which printer do you have?

It's easy to change filaments for supports on MMU3 and XL Multitool printers and more difficult but not impossible on single filament printers

Hello Joan,
I have an MK4S with an MMU3 on top, but the problem is, when I use the option into the Slicer, I can't use an MMU3 Port for the Support Filament
Regards
