Brim/Raft Overlaps

Is there a setting that will automatically merge raft and brim files on parts if parts are too close together?

I constantly have to move parts to do so. I know that I can merge the parts and print them as one, but that seems like an unnecessary extra step.

It just seems to me that if a raft is enabled, they shouldn't be conflicting with the neighboring parts because rafts apply to all the parts.

RE: Brim/Raft Overlaps

Simple answer is no.  All Objects slice independently.  Rafts do not apply to all parts as you can configure them individually.  Same with brims etc.

You can adjust the distance that arrange will place objects apart if you wish to (right click on the arrange tool).  If not you are supposed to merge so that they are treated as a single Object.

There have been several requests to automate arrange but like many things its not been actioned.  For example this recent one https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/15273   or this earlier one https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/12013   or how about one from 2019 https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/3042

You can set rafts uniquely? Huh... I did not know that. I will use that.

Prusa Slicer is nice... But some of these things Cura has been able to do for years.
