Better support for IDEX Color Change needed (or tell me how)
I am using PrusaSlicer with my Sovol SV04 IDEX (with custom Marlin firmware) to print a 5-color job, which requires 3 color changes on the 2nd extruder.
The UI of PrusaSlicer does a lovely job of supporting this, BUT:
the gcode is not correct for an idex. for color changes on extruder 1, it sends M600 (which is OK, but ideally it would be M600 T0). Unfortunately, for color changes on extruder 2, it assumes there is no firmware support for this, so instead of just sending M600 T1 (which is what I want), is sends a complex series of commands to position the printhead, then sends M601 pause (which my printer does not support, although I could enable it), and M117 telling the operator to change the filament.
I tried changing the pause print gcode in PrusaSlicer but is still goes through all the extra stuff
It also appears that there is a bug which causes it to think the last color change to extruder 2 is for extruder 1.
Anyway, this area needs work for IDEX support (or I need instruction!)

Hi Dave. Have you tried sending custom gcode. Instead of the prusa M600?
Right click on the layer side bar, instead of left click
