Be careful with sequential prints

I have an MK3S+, stock configuration, and had an issue with sequential printing in the 2.9 v of Prusa Slicer. My clearance for this printer is defined/set at 20mm radius and you can't change the stock default unless you change and save as a new printer. For me, when PS used to show the clearance around each part, I could lay out things using my gray matter and generally things were great. But I found that the auto-layout failed in my case. I had to go into the printer>general settings and increase the radius. (I used 40).  With 20, I had 6 small parts, but they were close enough that the extruder bumped into one and moved the sheet on the bed causing layer shifts.

So just something to be aware of for sequential prints. I use sequential prints quite a bit as they reduce stringing in my humid environment (even though I have umpteen dry boxes).

I'm not going to report it to the GitHub, as many things do not get implemented or take months.. so just a note of something to be aware of.. (wonder if they'll ever fix the editing of original posts in this forum??)

RE: Be careful with sequential prints

I'M sorry crab that you feel you need to approach this I this way, and frankly GitHub is also difficult to post in, many folks think its supposed to to be as easy as that, however it is not, if you have any option that goes against the norm on this site or on the GitHub, you will be chastised but the general conciseness. This is the way of the average user, not the user that is well educated. When we look at that is possible and has been in the past, we have to take into account the Dev's now vs the Dev's of the past that actually used the software, in a meaningful way. They the dev's now simply don't have the understanding. They are about what they can make for a living.

You, as a years long user are capable of seeing what they have no clue ever existed.

The software has gone down hill massively since 2.4

Good Luck, My recommendation, don't buy more Prusa Printers, and keep using older versions of the software, Just my OPINION.

Regards
