Automatically removing small floating extrusions from g-code in PrusaSlicer

Recently I have been trying to print miniature models with my Prusa MK2. Unfortunately, there are not many files available on the internet that are high in detail but also made with 3D printing in mind, so I often have to fix them, by hand or using an STL fixer tool. However, even after a lot of fixing work, the final gcode tends to have floating extrusions in areas where the mesh is too thin. (I have included a close-up photo of such a slice)

When important detail is lost I have no choice but to fix the model by hand, but often such extrusions arise due to minor, thin mesh details that are placed in inconvenient locations, thus making themselves a nightmare to print, and I would much rather remove them then waste more time on a something that probably won't be noticeable in the final print(I have attempted slicing with finer settings and a thinner, 0.25 mm nozzle, but the errors persist). I was wandering if there was a way to have the slicer discard or "filter out" such extrusions after the primary slicing stage is completed. Using external software is also an option - are such things available, or I will have to do some manual g-code wizardry to achieve the desired effect?

Many models are suspect, try using the
'Fix with the Netfabb', option, in slicer for windows.

you could try increasing the model dimensions using 'XY compensation', to see if that makes fine details printable,

you could try the above options with a 0.25mm nozzle

check your 'extrusion width' for external perimeters it directly affects what can be resolved with any given nozzle diameter.

Hey,

sorry for the late reply,

using XY compensation did the trick, and made the details printable,

thanks
