Artillery Sidewinder X1 always hangs on the same part of the print using PrusaSlicer 2.5

Hello everyone,

I'm using the latest PrusaSlicer 2.5 and am having an issue with my Artillery Sidewinder X1, the printer always stop on the same spot, kill() is called.

I've tried to print it 3 times already (two times with the same file, a third time with a newly sliced file) and as you can see, it always fail at the same time:

Here are the details of my setup:

  • Printer Sidewinder X1
    • Modded with Marlin 2.0.7.2 to support BL Touch
  • Prusa Slicer 2.5
    • Fresh install
    • Sidewinder X1 installed from the wizard

It is worth mentioning that the printer works fine when using another slicer, my theory is that there's something causing an error in the .gcode file.

Here's a zip containing the .gcode and .stl file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lcbn59br2r9peqo/3D_file_%252B_gCode.zip/file

How can I resolve this issue ?

I thank you in advance for your answers.

I don't see anything in the GCODE.  Have you tried to post this on their facebook page?

Chuck this was posted on the github page too https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/8923   and the cause found and the issue closed.

To quote Rtyr

"It is most likely caused by incorrect filament settings.

You are printing ASA at 265C with 100% fan speed for the bridges. Your printer likely halts because of thermal runaway protection (unable to reach target temperature)."
