Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
Looking for a good Kobra Max profile for PrusaSlicer.
Also will this printer be added to PrusaSlicer at some point?
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
I have one I made myself that I am using. You are welcome to it if you like. Hate the printer, but it prints. I'll have to figure how to export it. Else I could just post the start and end gcode here. Let me know which you would prefer.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
There are 2 ways, you could export a config bundle, using file>export. Or you could just save a project file with your profiles selected. Then when someone loads the project file in the profiles are temporarily loaded. The user can then manually save them to their system using the save icons in PS if they like the look/performance of the profile.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
Thanks for that. Can I attach it to a post here? I tried the add media link but it wouldn't let me add a 3MF file for security reasons.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
Use the attach file button on the bottom of the edit field BUT heres the thing, you must zip up most files before the forum will let you attach them. It has a VERY limited selection of allowed file types.
Add media lets you add it to your media gallery here but you still need to zip stuff like 3mf'd or stls etc. Its just easier to use the Attach File button rather than adding it to your gallery and then selecting it from your gallery to add to the post.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
If you want to send it my way I would appreciate it, I have used the one I found on GitHub and experimented with some other stuff. Seems to have been working well but need to run some more prints.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
I cannot for the life of me find "attach file button on the bottom of the edit field". I uploaded it as a zip file to this link in my media. quarter-wall-1. This is a project file I have successfully printed recently. I had to increase the printer volume to 405mmx405mm to get the part to fit, but otherwise is the standard printer setup I use. I am using the original firmware that came with the printer, there is a more recent version on github, but I rolled mine back recently to the version still on their website. Better the devil I know. God knows what anycubic have 'fixed' in the most recent one. Any questions or issues you have let me know, I have probably run into them.
RE: Anycubic Kobra Max Profile
Thanks, but I don't have that option available.
