Aligning Transforms Help

Hello,

I have created tree style supports in mesh mixer and want to bring the object and support stl into Prusa Slicer but they come in based on their bounding box it seems. They are then of course misaligned. Is there a way to get around this?

thanks in advance 🙂

I export the part and supports as a single stl rather than separate parts.

@tim-m30

I am currently printing that way and it is looking good. seems there is an option in Slicer to set an object as support material. I just assumed that would be preferred. maybe not. lol 🙂

The only reasons to have a tree support a separate object is 1) seems like the right thing to do; 2) when using soluble support plastic with an MMU.

When reason1) is causing problems... and you don't need reason 2) ... KISS.
