2.3.0 How to slow down top of a vase mode print.

Hi Folks,

I'm trying some pyramidal vase mode prints ( via https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2613568 ) and all is good apart from some interesting pathological slicing behavior at original scaling which I shall detail in another post.

I also want to slow things down at top to give the layers time to solidify more. If I try a height range modifier I get "Spiral vase option can only be used when printing single material objects" error.

Is there another way to achieve my objective?

Many Thanks,

        Robin.

What about using the Printer Settings/Cooling? You can speed up the fan when the part gets smaller. I use this technique when printing PC/Carbon Fiber, so it doesn't droop.

I thought that vase mode interfered with that ... or at least it used to in slic3r as the 'layers' (Z changes) were many and small because it's one continuous spiral. So it would end up slowing down all the time. I'll try it with the latest build though.

Cheers,

        Robin.
