Better Controlling Supports
Hey y'all!
New to the forum, Looking for some tips. I am printing a small bobbin for a classmate of mine and Ive got some problems with the supports that prusaslicer is generating.
my first problem outlined with purple is this support material for the supports. HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE??? I have tried adding a modifier to to block the support material here but that doesnt seem to work. I dont want these extra lines because I am printing with PETG and they get super stuck to the build plate.
Second problem is the supports themselves. for whatever reason, they seam to generate a bounding box around the surface they are supporting. not a huge issue but id like to figure out how to contain that... maybe it would solve my first problem.
Yes, i have asked my classmate to redesign this so that supports are not necessary but there's only so much I can do get in the way of ego
