When will alternate nozzles be available for purchase?
Has there been any word on when we would be able to order alternate size nozzles (0.25, 0.6, etc.) for the INDX?
RE:
I ordered a 0.8 CHT and a 0.25 (non-CHT) along with my Founders Edition order... so they do exist. I'd guess they'll re-appear in Prusa and Bondtech's shops when stock is available?

Article released by prusa just stated later in the year.

I'm glad they have non CHT version out already.

Shop pages on Bondtech seem to have been disabled for the Indx nozzles... links from my FE order -
https://www.bondtech.se/product/bondtech-indx-hardened-tool
https://www.bondtech.se/product/bondtech-indx-cht-hardened-tool
Presumably those same sizes will be available again.

I wonder if they are still delivering for the preorder. Thanks for posting. I was not tracking that they were not available yet. This will delay my INDX order.

I'm excited what the nozzle will really cost afterwards. Don't think it will stay at 35€.
I go from 50-70€
Let's see where the price really is later I think Prusa will be more expensive than Bondtech

But the nozzles (tools) will be exactly the same for the Prusa/Core One version and the Bondtech/generic kit, won't they? So why would one order from Prusa at a higher price?

I concur.
Those are intro prices. It will go up.

Wait, what? They're not available for the Prusa pre-orders? By the beard of Zeuss, why?
RE:
My guess is Bondtech are prioritising their direct customers to start. Looking at the video Canuck creator had with Olaf, they essentially noted they can’t keep up with demand. I’d imagine they’ve prioritise 0.4 CHTs to start as it’s the most commonly used and once they can stabilise production more of the other types will become available. Age old problem in business, where a company must can’t keep up with their own success.
Was unsure if getting the FE was a good idea but at the very least it meant I could get a couple of 0.6s in my order as I print a lot of things at that size. In hindsight I wish I got a few more 😂

Either a supplier problem or a heated internal debate about pricing, would be my guess.
Or, worst case, they are deliberately hiding the final price tag of the nozzles until enough people have bought the INDX kit. Let them bite, then reel them in...? Let's hope not.

But not being able to ship yet has never stopped Prusa from taking orders. 😏

It is the way… the Prusa way.
Im hopeful with optimised manufacturing via injection molding and casting they’ll manage to keep the price point down. That said let’s all be frank at this point with what’s going on in the Middle East everyone will end up increasing costs, and anyone still holding Prusa and Bondtech to 35eur/usd in 6months needs to get a bit of a reality check

In hindsight, I would of ordered some more too, but that's life. I was a bit bamboozled by what to choose but went for 6 x .4 1 x .25 and 1 x .6
Maybe a .8 would if been an idea too? Was that even an option at the time? I'm confused just thinking about it 😅

I picked up a 1.0mm anticipating using it as an "infill only" nozzle. Of course that won't happen until proper multi-nozzle support is added to the slicer.

Now there's an idea, but that ship has sailed for me, although an option for future configurations.
So, is there any news on when the slicer is going to be fully ready?
RE:
Don't know - if they get significantly more expensive, it undermines INDX value proposition as a "budget" system, It needs to show a clearly visible cost advantage over a toolchanger or the added complexity will not pay off (not to think of the uphill battle with Marlin firmware on Core One).
Compare, a high-end Voron toolhead is about $200 with a few nozzles included, and then I get exactly what I want (say, raw throughput >> 50 mm³/s or maximum precision closer to 5 mm³/s. A huge, heavy head where little can go wrong or a tiny one, weight-optimized. Or cost-optimized, probably closer to $100 if I can live without titanium screws in the heatbreak). A different nozzle alone, starts at $5.
INDX will always be a compromise but I foresee they would have a hard time competing outside the segment they worked so hard to introduce.

According to Prusa and BondTech, the beta INDX firmware will be released and printer profiles will be provided for the current version of PrusaSlicer when the INDX founder's edition starts shipping.

My prediction? Every (Chinese) printer manufacturer will have a tool changer by end of this year. At that time, the INDX will no longer be special and off people's radar.
