RE: Update...(Kind of)
On the Bondtech Discord Olof has said they are now in the production and shipping phase having completed test, validate and implement.
Still vague but suggests the wait might "soon" be over.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Sounds promising.
I'm curious when Prusa dan will start shipping.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
... keeping the fingers crossed on the shipping part 😀

Buy a Chinese Bamboo and stop whining...you tire us with your state of soul.
I stopped caring when it will ship. Too many false promises on the shipping dates. For now, they can hang onto my $850 interest-free loan. I want to experience the INDX when it finally arrives otherwise I have no reason to keep the Core One. So still looking forward to having it in-hand but not having it is no longer blocking my projects.
MK3S + MMU2 migrée vers une MK4 +MMU3 , puis vers MK4S MMU3, puis upgrade vers Core One, Elegoo Mars, bricole sur Home assistant, arduino, 8266, Esp32, kicad, Freecad et Fusion 360
RE: Update...(Kind of)
that's what I did… Two actually and I sold my core one

I did buy one... Funny how you waded through 1000's of post to quote something from 4 months ago. Sorry you had to take the time to post something meaningless.

So sorry for you. Why did you sell your Core One?

The feature set on the Bambu units is quite superior. I've got about 1000 hours on each and they have yet to have any significant issue. While I don't love their support turn around times, the one time I needed Prusa they basically blew me off and provided fairly poor support.
The core one is a decent printer, but it has poor at best support for the MMU3 (might have gotten better recently) - and multicolor / multifilament is poor at best.
INDX should change that... but given their track record, it was going to be at least 6 months late (probably more)... and for less money than a Core One L+ you get a 7 print head / 7 color printer.
Getting rid of the core one was the right move... Someday, they'll have a Core One L+ with INDX and maybe it'll be ready for prime time.

By FormNext 2026 every major 3D printer manufacturer will have already had a tool changer on the market or will be introducing one.
RE:
Shipping starting June 25th according to a mail I just got 😎👍🏻
Shipping will start June 25.We know the wait has been longer than any of us wanted. We've said that before and we mean it. But we didn't spend the time standing still; macros and firmware are in considerably better shape, we've fixed a heatcreep issue affecting low temp materials in elevated ambient temperatures, documentation is solid, and we've added accessories that weren't in the original plan. The result is a better product in your hands.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
To avoid confusion it's the BondTech FE orders that start shipping on 25th June not the batch 1 Prusa orders.

Thank you. In my excitement, I forgot to add that part 😅
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I'm not going to get excited until I see a tracking number in my inbox.

I somehow expect you to post something amongst the lines of “I’m not going to get excited until the INDX is actually delivered physically” once you do receive tracking numbers… Though I get where you’re coming from.
Anyway, I’m just glad to hear an update that is not further delays and am excited for you FE guys.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I already mentioned this in the "it's june 2nd" thread:
I've been shopping at prusa for many many years. I now have 7 Prusa printers and that's because I gave 2 away. They have NEVER, EVER released a new technology on time, not even close. I got my XL 2 years after I ordered it, the MMU's many many months. If you're a repeat prusa customer, you already know this.
If they announce a date, just add 1 to the year as the most extreme case 😉
But I'll be happy if I get my prusa batch 1 INDX still during this year.
It's really a shame that they're not better with that, but I get that from a marketing point of view a "pay now, get delivery in 12 months" is not really appetizing to people and they have to get some money in somehow.
That being said, when they start shipping, overal the product is very good.

INDX is not directly Prusa but Bondtech 😉
Wait and see the FE starts on the 25th, let's see when Prusa then adds

I thought that "the first prusa" batch was prusa itself, they changed the mounthing plate etc to better match the Core ONE? I seem to recall reading that somewhere.
I mean, I assume that specific parts will be delivered to prusa by bondtech but that prusa will finish the packages.

RE: Update...(Kind of)
Yeah, when I bought my Core One upgrade kit, I gave them my money in February 2025 and it didn't arrive to my door until end of June almost 5 months later. Bond Tech is about the same. I made the $150 deposit in November, paid them $850 in March and will get the delivery probably first week of July (while I'm of vacation of course).
Conversely, most manufactures will not announce a product until the day before it is available for purchase. The one exception was Bambu announcing the Vortek system 4-5 months before it was ready. I think they did it to kill momentum for the Snapmaker U1. Prusa did exactly the same announcing the INDX way too early.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I'm more excited about the bondtech extruder and perhaps having the C1 be better at printing TPU than I am about the multiple extruders. The INDX extruders seem better suited for tpu because of the automatic adjustment of the gears against the filament. I've not preordered the upgrade kit at this time, but I'm going to follow quite closely here to see what people's experiences are with them. 92A and above tpu work ok on the core one for me with a couple mods, but software, like 85A and below, not so much.
Fingers crossed the INDX is great so I can order an upgrade kit for one of my Core ones.
