RE: Update...(Kind of)
...Why they couldn’t just release a decent photo showing it in full is annoying.
It has nozzle seals similar to XL.
Sometimes blurry, partial and funny angle photos are intentional. Large manufacturing companies have teams that make documentation. Part of these teams job is to change the pictures enough so products can't be reverse engineered from the pictures. If I worked at Prusa or Bondtech I would be very careful about the amount of information that was released before full production.
I know we want to have everything "open", but that can't always be sustained in the world today. When a significant amount of work is needed to make the level of products we are now demanding.

@vhubbard, want to buy a bridge? 😋
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I would love to see a video of a new slicer version assigning colors to the various parts of this model!
On a sideline, what I find mildly amusing is that, following the link from Facebook where the above picture is hosted ( https://www.prusa3d.com/p/bondtech-indx), you still see the INDX system advertised without the metal fence ...

I don't think we'll be seeing a new slicer until PS3.
Olof said last week that the functionality is already in current PS, so I would presume it's done the same as XL , and MMU in the slicer.
They'll just be releasing new profiles for Core One with INDX I guess.
It seems like asking for trouble to release a new product with a new slicer, the threshold for problems would be immense.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
oh man
RE: Update...(Kind of)
So, probably not today either, but rather on Monday? Or next Friday? Or whenever they feel like it.
Tommy and Olaf made the exact same comment on the discord yesterday. Been a couple Bondtech videos yesterday and today but very specific to the dev copies rather than prusa
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I'll assume they are specifically doing that to make me feel better about having jumped ship. Thank you, Prusa and Bondtech! 🙄
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Yeah, but "which" Monday? I've already made a decision that if there is no announcement next week, I'm pulling out. Will use the refund to pick a U1 or maybe upgrade my H2D with the Vortex.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Die müssen wohl am Montag ...
Am Dienstag veröffentlicht Bambulab wohl den neuen X... Drucker.
Vür viele wohl auch eine Alternative.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Pull out from what, founders edition offer?
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
RE:
Im far from an apologist but I’d like to think any further delays are them fixing the teething issues that we would be stumbling into. I’d rather wait a few more weeks for a product that works.
It’s disappointing but Im all in now.
What will annoy me is delays and a half finished product.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
If it's any consolation, building Voron heads wasn't as much fun as planned. Four done, two to go but ... later ...
Can see the beauty of a single-head solution 🙂

The vortex is actually very nice.
total waste, but I’ve been printing up signage with five colors on it and it’s really not slow.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Which one are you building mate? I’ve been watching quite a lot of Steve Builds on YouTube recently.
RE: Update...(Kind of)

yes, I've already given them $850 which could be used to fund a Vortex instead,

I expect both. I've set an internal cutoff point for end of day Monday. Just the fact that what I'll receive will be SLS printed and not injection molded is starting to annoy me.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
So all the plastic parts are SLS prints? Well I never 😳
