@jürgen I am not sure I understand your point: the horizontal bar is mounted to the frame. The new front panel is, if you want, a huge horizontal bar that now spans from the upper frame down to where the original bar is. There is no difference, it is just a larger (and optically uglier) horizontal bar!

My point was that the new "fence" is supported by the upper enclosure profile -- well, it actually is an extended version of the upper enclosure profile -- and that this profile has so far not needed to be at a defined position vs. the CoreXY motion system. But as @gb160 has pointed out above, the fence is probably also attached to the CoreXY frame. So once everything has been assembled and fits together, and the docking positions presumably get calibrated, it should be fine.

Well on the first version of the fence we saw (the Bondtech launch website images) , it was definitely attached to the core XY frame, the new version its hard to say because the only picture we've seen is rather limited.
