What it has come to is another question.

I personally had a similar case where I paid by credit card.

And afterwards my payment was rejected and the money was refunded.

I then paid with Paypal and have never had any problems with any payments with Paypal since then.

RE:

I dont use paypal on principal.

If I have to use Paypal to pay by credit card, which is retarded, then it shouldnt even be an option.

Nice to know im not the only one though.

Google

A declined credit card payment despite sufficient funds is often due to security precautions, technical problems or unactivated functions. Typical causes are blocked online payments, the lack of 3D Secure, a defective chip or suspicious transactions that are blocked by the banking algorithm

Maybe something applies to it. Since it was not your credit card as it seems to me is still the question did you enter your address or that of the credit card holder?

If the name does not match the credit card, it is often blocked for security reasons

So at least in Germany

RE:

To my knowledge, all was correct. That doesnt explain why it goes immediately to cancelled with no recourse OR notice. Thats the part that infuriates me.

All I know is the cancellation was "immediate" after payment.

Yes, that's very strange.

Normally you should have received an email from Prusa that it was canceled.

I'm curious if you get any more information about why the whole thing happened.

If it was a a security check it would be leaving out my middle initial. I suppose thats probably what happened. Which could have been fixed with a simple question. All this automated stuff is just rife with problems. Enshitification is real and rampant. Of this I am convinced.

Something similar happened to me when I bought the MMU3. I went to pay on credit through Klarna, and the transaction failed shortly after. Prusa canceled the order due to non-payment, and Klarna has no explanation for the failure.

My solution: place the order again using Visa.

I am a bit confused regarding the information concerning shipping dates for the conversion kit (8 tool heads, Batch 1). Is it June or August?

"Shipping starts in June" means that the first three units leave the Prusa warehouse on June 30th, followed by further shipments at an unknown rate. 😏
Hence it is certainly plausible that batch 1 shipments stretch into August.

That's what I did, though. I didn't go through a 3rd party payment processor on my end. Prusa did on their end however.  And I have yet to hear from them.

I've accepted now that INDX is a lost cause. I'll just not buy one. Their loss. Not that they care.

Yes, it's very strange. I got the confirmation but not the cancellation. I have had nothing but email issues from Prusa, and no one at Prusa seems to care. Which makes me wonder if they are playing games with me for funsies. It's probably bot problems... But boy is it happening alot.

My email provider also directs the occasional Prusa email to the spam folder. Not mass emails like newsletters or special sales offers, but individualized messages like shipping notices. Other message from Prusa make it into my inbox; I can't spot a pattern.

I assume it's due to some blacklist providers casting too wide a net, and maybe some actual spammers using the same hosting/internet access infrastructure as Prusa. Not directly Prusa's fault then, but maybe they should move to a better neighborhood, internet-wise?

Perhaps. Not my field of expertise. I did check my blocked contacts, addresses and spam folders and nothing there raises any flags. Off topic but I will get emails on subscriptions in the forums, (as long as its not a bot account, those get filtered out somehow, which is strange). I will get no email when someone contacts me via Printables despite it being enabled. And I don't think the notifications for community tab are working right either, but I am not sure about that one yet.

Hello Shrap,

Maybe and just maybe, in the mean time your payment was accepted, stock went out, so they cancel your order, because of a stock issue between your placed order and real stock.

Of course they can explain that, and that's all. But who knows?.

I decided to wait until indx fever goes down, and then, maybe, give it a try.

MMU3 is still printing well for my needs.

Regards.

That's possible. But I won't know until at least tomorrow, if at all. I give up on it anyway, at this point.

I don't have a MMU, just an old school single color printer in my Core One (at this moment). A project I am working on right now would really shine multi color, and a associate of mine has a Bambu w/AMS. He printed some parts for me in 3 colors and they look great. Having as little waste as possible is ideal to me. Heavy cost upfront, long term savings, potentially.

RE: Prusa CORE One INDX – Unmatched Toolchanger With 8 Nozzles – Orders Now Open!

I placed my order using a credit card, and I received an automated phone call from my credit card company only a few minutes afterward to confirm that I had indeed just made a large purchase. I know from experience that if I don't answer that call, the purchase will be rejected by my credit card company, which would in turn cause Prusa to cancel it. They do this to prevent fraud, and it's beyond Prusa's control.

There is no excuse for bouncing orders because you haven't got stock, if that is really what is happening then it is just nuts! Having orders to fulfil is a nice problem to have.

Anyway I had a bit of time today to think about INDX, the Core One and Prusa so rather than be on the fence, I'm out and not going to bother ordering INDX.

RE: Prusa CORE One INDX – Unmatched Toolchanger With 8 Nozzles – Orders Now Open!

Regarding 300C temperature limit - there was a stream where they said that for now it is limited to 300C due to the infrared sensor used which checks the temperature nozzle, over 300C it started to report incorrect temperatures because it needs additional cooling.

There was also a hint that there are goong to be prepared additional versions of INDX for higher temperatures - and probably different sensors for that high temperatures - but there were no details when it is going to happen. They said it will probably be a 'pro' variants for advanced materials.

>Does E3D nozzles work with INDX?

> Those are bit longer from the threads down than Prusas own nozzles?

INDX design is totally different design than existing standards and as of now is not compatible with anything except original INDX nozzles. Who knows, maybe there are plans for different nozzles?

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Thanks for the Info.  I am looking forward to the versions that can print at temperatures above 300 C. Those more exotic filaments are my next jump.
