You could probably block internet access for the camera on the Unifi side - it streams over LAN only anyway last I checked. Might be worth a shot.

RE: CORE One L Buddy cam always reports “WiFi connection failed” after QR code scan.

I can't get the Buddy Camera on my CoreOneL printer to connect to my WiFi router. The printer connects okay, and PrusaConnect works with it using the same WiFi username and password. The password has 17 characters and includes two special characters. I have many devices connected to this Wi-Fi account, and removing special characters from the password is not a good idea. Not to mention how long it will take to reset all these devices. Can someone confirm that the special characters are causing the connection to fail? Thanks,

I don't know when Prusa released v3.1.3 but it seems to solve all of the "WiFi connection failed' nonsense.  It also adds WebRTC support.  My camera is finally working as I'd hoped it would.

Just a heads up, I submitted this post to our connect devs to see what could be the issue.

Mine started working when I changed the password to my wifi.

Thanks! I reported the issue over 4 months ago via email, but that process does not work at all (they asked me to put ALL issues in a single email, which could not be tracked). A simple ticketing system would work wonders here.

Lacking useful email response, I resorted to this forum.

Over time, someone posted a manual downgrade process for the firmware (3.1.2 to 3.1.0 IIRC).

Later, someone posted that a 3.1.3 firmware was released but I could not find any official announcement or Changelog.

At the moment my camera runs the downgraded firmware, but since no new release was announced, I’m not pressing the “update” button - no indication as to what new version would be installed.

Regards, Ed.

Sorry if I misled you.  I’m not sure that Prusa ever “released” 3.1.3   I was following the downgrade instructions that @TPdesign posted back on Nov 24th of last year when I remembered an old trick and simply tried the next logical version number in the URL.  That’s how I stumbled across 3.1.3

Glad we finally have someone from Prusa that wants to find solutions to problems, unlike CS.
