Spare MK4S build plates, can I use on Core One L?
I am considering a Core One L and have MK4S with extra build plates. Obviously, I can't use the full XY build volume and I'm thinking an adapter would be needed to align the smaller plate, but theoretically, if the MK4S plate was positioned where the nozzle checks for the plate, it could work if I kept the model constrained in the xy dimensions in the slicer? Oh wait, then there is bed leveling... hmmm

For some small nodels that might work but you would have to move the prints and the plate to the right front corner, so the printer can do auto homing.
The more problematic is the model size which will trigger auto bed leveling in the larger area than the printed object, and thus you would have to find the area which would still fit in the smaller bed.
Doable but probably not worth it in the long run.

You could maybe create a Core One L print profile that sets the bed size and origin then as @_KaszpiR_ points out, move it to the front right corner.
