Thanks! Indeed, using the step-file I could confirm the 5kg spools I use do not physically fit in the spool holder compartment, even apart from the weight concern. So I'll just have to live with 1 or 2 kg spools.

Why only with 1, 2 kg spools? Why not designing a holder for 5 kg spools placed next to the printer...or take an already designed one...?

Space reasons. I have a spool holder that fits my 5kg spools ( https://www.printables.com/model/293431-spool-holder-holding-up-to-large-3kg-spools ), but I don't have room for a Core One L and a spool holder side-by-side.

This https://www.printables.com/model/1361348-2-kg-spool-support-for-core-one remixed for a 5 kg spool still too wide...? Sorry, never had a spool bigger than 1 kg in my hands...what are the dimensions of a 5 kg spool? Thx in advance!

Personally I have a similar issue - a bit of lack of space on the sides, so I used LACK to stock things under the print. In the future will move with the spools to be placed above it, probably. Unfortunately those things get bigger and bigger....
