Size of filament spool compartment
I like using 5kg spools, and I wonder if these will fit. How big is the spool compartment on the side of the printer?

A 5 kg spool will not fit within the "side compartment" and due its weight you need an appropriate spool holder with support on both sides...

Thanks! Indeed, using the step-file I could confirm the 5kg spools I use do not physically fit in the spool holder compartment, even apart from the weight concern. So I'll just have to live with 1 or 2 kg spools.

Why only with 1, 2 kg spools? Why not designing a holder for 5 kg spools placed next to the printer...or take an already designed one...?

Space reasons. I have a spool holder that fits my 5kg spools ( https://www.printables.com/model/293431-spool-holder-holding-up-to-large-3kg-spools ), but I don't have room for a Core One L and a spool holder side-by-side.
