Printer is vibrating terribly

Hi,

I just received my Core One L. I did print the Benchy as a first test. But the printer is shaking like hell. Even when I put it on a concrete floor!

Is that normal?

Yes, the Bonkers Benchy is Ludicrous Speed at which the demo benchy was designed. You are never going to print at this speed, unless you like prints that look that bad. It is a neat demo how it can make a successsful at such a high speed.

Yep. Conservation of momentum is annoying but important. I use custom feet made of a material called PEBA and have the printer on a very heavy and sturdy shop table.

As @Ruebarb pointed out, printing at "normal" speeds the printer will not shake as much (or noticeably at all)

Also recheck if your base surface is flat, you can use a rag and place a paver in it, and then a printer on it - will help to limit the amount of noise transferred to the base and its surroundings.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

While it is normal, I always felt the Core One shake is minimal - you should see the H2D/H2C in full swing!!!

The H2X is equivalent to the Core One with the Hula feet. That is, anti-vibration springs on the feet. I didn't notice any difference in print quality when using the Core One with and without the hula feet.

Yeah, I never noticed a difference in print quality with the hula feet... but I was using the accelerometer as well for calibration.

What I did notice is that with the Hula feet the table the printer is on did not shake as much.  On the H2D/C the rubber feet as great and similarly, with the Hula feet the table doesn't shake as much.
