Better version of my 3d video - which works ok 2d too - you can move around with the arrow keys - made it a bit more like the Planetarium reveal 3d view.

I just hope PRUSA does not allow Bondtech free reign. The last two Bondtech upgrades I have bought from them were either wrong or well wrong. And they were very snippy about it. They kept telling me that my printer had a part that it did not, and after about 5 back and forth emails, I found out that the part they sent me was for a totally different printer type. Then the replacement they sent, had no hardware. Im like aren't these guys Swiss? Aren't they know for detailed orientation and fine engineering?

PRUSA KEEP HOLD of YOUR REIGNS TIGHT!~

Yeah. Depending on what gets announced tomorrow. If no INDX on the horizon, then I either don't cancel my Snapmaker U1 pre-order or pick up an H2D with a Vortek add-on.

On the "horizon" though?  I thought it was sometime in Q1, best case Prusa has a special deal to get it in on the earlier end of that.

If it works really well (IF), INDX seems to be a much better solution, given the 40 second filament changes we now know the Vortek has. (And 15-20 minute startup times).  I guess it (INDX) is not going to beat the convenience of initial material choice/loading if you have a stack of 4 AMS's or something. But print times for 3+ colors should be lower.

i hope they'll announce it tomorrow, as there's something hidden at bondtech area in formnext and all those teaser photos of prusa core one/l indx(?)... it would be a disaster if they would not reveal it tomorrow, complete disappointment. Today I cursed cloudflare as i was refreshing x for indx news and jet they still released nothing 🙁

Unless they pull an "Elegoo" and say something like "I know we promised the INDX but you'll have to wait until next year. As a consolation we'll give you a free roll of filament"

They're literally situated next to the Bondtech booth, there's 0 chance they won't be showing the INDX tomorrow 😀  Unless the event gets cancelled overnight.  If you want to worry about something let it be: 1) time to full release 2) cost 3) does it work incredibly well...

Well "disaster" is a strong word but it would be sad.

What is weird is why Bondtech needs to be involved at all. Prusa already has a tool changer can they just not do their own. I mean they have had that XL tool changer out since 2022. Several Youtubers has since made several of their own. Is Prusa unable to make a smaller version of their own product in almost 4 years. I could send my 13 year old nephew over he has been modding his XL for the last 2 years.

Trust, but verify….

Now, we need a 400C INDX system….

Carbon PEKK core, with an ASA exterior, some flexibles and conductives…..

Agreed, I'll go with a MMU at this point as I'll have multi color and 400C

Bondech INDX on Core One L - TL;DR version  = see you in Formnext 2026.

On the stream and the showroom they showed only INDX in Core One with availability for founders edition in Q1 2026, with a kita in about Q1 2026.

They said Core One L support is not even in the design phase - no wonder, things that saw Core One a month ago on the closed show said that thing they saw on Formnext look totally different now, so its another iteration.

Personally I am a bit disappointed, was expexting more details about it.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

RE: Bondtech INDX on CoreOneL

The hardware concerned with INDX between a CORE One+ and a CORE One L is close to 100% identical.  There is absolutely no way in hell they need another year to develop it for the L after it's ready for the One+.  It would be almost unbelievable it would take more than the end of Q1 to get an L version working in addition.

Obviously cable/PTFE lengths, travel area, and things like that are different so it needs some work- so it's not gonna be ready for a trade show 3 weeks or whatever after the L was released, but come on....

Funny, before today there were people suggesting INDX might not come to the original CORE One and only the L 😆  And for almost the same reason that would make  no sense.

Wondering if Prusa would sell a Core One without the Nextruder? Either that or maybe build something like a Voron but modified for (what will be) my left-over Nextruder. Actually kicking myself now that I recycled the leftover parts from my MK4S when I upgraded it to the Core One.

RE: Bondtech INDX on CoreOneL

Sadly I think it is just a marketting strategy for a bigger roll out of a future product line. They like pulling people along with promises. The thing is, like the H2C it is almost outdated before it is released. The LARGER L you all speak of is really this, the L is 300 x 300 x 300mm and the One is 250 × 220 × 270mm meaning that the L has a 50 x 80x 30mm improvement, for Imperial People that is  1.96 x 3.15 x 1.8." These SMALL numbers can easily be adjusted in the gcode for lengths of the x,y & z axis for the toolchanger. Always remember the Ancient saying (paraphrase) "The simplest answer is usually the truth."

RE:

True, but before it is ready for Core One it will take half a year and then only three months to port it to Core One L, add to it production delays in software (firmware and slicer), prepar  support teams for help new customers and its going to be available since next summer.
