Tips for printing Buddy3D ABS ESD on Core One+ ?

I'm having issues getting the ABS ESD filament to print reliably. The filament has snapped a couple of times in the extruder assembly, clogged the nozzle tube etc. And then I've had prints fail due to stringing (I think) connecting with the print and pulling it off the plate. This is with a freshly opened spool.

I've seen some improvement by backing off the idler lever tension. The defaults are too tight for this brittle filament.

Any other tips? Anyone tried a 0.6mm nozzle, or different print temperatures?

Hey...

Note! A “freshly unpacked” filament spool is never ready to print (except perhaps PLA). You have to let it dry first.Judging by the rest of your post, I assume you need to get to know your filament first:

Mods for Core One: Core One HT 450 degrees, Comfortable display , Very fast print start and Reducing noises
Mods for Prusa XL: Very fast print start

Thanks for this! I didn't know this was needed for anything other than more advanced engineering materials.
