Strange issues with dry Prusament
Hi, I am having trouble printing this seemingly easy part. It's a simple container.
I am printing with dry jet black Prusament PETG, that was pulled from dry box reading 7% RH. Core one, Balanced profile, 0.4 ObXidian nozzle.
Here is the 3mf: wiper-arm & trash bin
Outer perimeter is not attached near the base. Can also be seen on the second to last photo.
Area around the seam is messy. Yes, this is characteristic of wet filament, but this isn't the case.
The bottom layer had trouble. Seems like under extrusion here.

So it is - I must have missed it...
The geometry is free of the subtle gotchas that sometimes cause this sort of problem.
Revert to the Prusa default start g-code and try again:
I'm with @jurgen-7 and @hyiger, that looks like damp filament so dry first ...
and I agree with @k1mu, not the cause of the greater problem but those loose areas look like oil spots on the build sheet; a thorough clean can't hurt.

When you mention a "dry box" -- is that an actively heated drier (set to which temperature?), or just a closed box with desiccant? Desiccant at room temperature may well dry the air inside the box, giving you a low RH reading. But it will not necessarily pull water out of the polymer matrix, providing you with dry filament. I would try the print again after actively drying (heating) the filament if you have not already done so.

It's a closed box with desiccant. Been there for months, it's at equilibrium. I recharged the silica beads several weeks ago.

As Jürgen correctly pointed out, that just means the air around the filament is dry. It doesn't mean the filament itself is dry. Try popping the filament in a dryer for 6-8hrs.

Ok, the spool was in the active dryer for 12 hours at 55C.
Here's the first layer:
Print sheet was cleaned with 90% IPA prior to starting. The nozzle was very clean to begin with.
I didn't let it go past the 1st layer because it was actually worse this time around. I checked for debris under the sheet that may cause something like this. Found nothing.
Thoughts?

Clean your sheet with HOT water and a dish detergent like Dawn (US) or Fairy (EU). Dry it carefully with paper towels and touch only the outside of the sheet.
The IPA just moves the oil around; cleaning with a detergent will get the crud off the sheet.
Using a sheet like the BIQU Glacier might be worthwhile - I've had little issues with first layer sticking since I switched.

And check that the thumb screws for the nozzle are tight at printing temperature.

And check to see if you are not accidentally printing PLA using a PETG setting which will do exactly this.

I cleaned the sheet and used the dried filament. The print came out great. I appreciate you all questioning my original assertion that the filament was dry.
