QUALITY Print Settings

Really silly question, but since the Core One is not even close to the print quality of my i3-Mk3... I have to ask.

In my Slicer settings for Core One, I see SPEED and STRUCTURAL config profiles, neither do justice to the printer nor come close to the structural and print quality I am use to.  I do not see any Core One QUALITY profiles in the config wizard, either). I think I have seen people refer to quality profiles in other posts, but maybe I am misreading them. I'd really like to find a 'stock' print profile that - even if it prints slower - comes reasonably close to my Mk3.

Are there QUALITY profiles for the Core One?

And, yes, I am currently working on tuning slow print settings to see if I can make a dent - it'd be nice to get square corners and inner perimeters that actually touch the outer perimeter... lol.

RE: QUALITY Print Settings

The new Belt tuning method of the Core one and the 2.9.3 PrusaSlicer update are addessing print quality and VFA type issues.    The belt tuning in now in the Prusa App.   2.9.3 is in beta testing.  Another step in understanding Machine Dynamics.   I got my Core One pre-assembled, but found later one of the belt thensions was way out of spec.   Fixing that has helped.

VFA has never concerned me - poor corners and perimeters that are separating do.

Sounds like something isnt really correct, my C1 is clearly better than my mk3S, and I was very happy with my old printer as well, especially ringing artefacts for example which are pretty much gone on the C1.

RE: QUALITY Print Settings

I wish all I were concerned about were VFA and ringing and other cosmetic artifacts; I am not even getting usable builds of even simple parts like a test cube for wall thickness measurements. And the latest test part fails on small structures -- unless I cut the print speed down to 1/2 the structural speed.

The printer is factory made, passes all diagnostics, latest firmware, latest slicer profiles, has no oddities, belts are factory tight and the GT2 tension gauge says within acceptable range.

All aspects of the prints issues point to a very poor Input Shaper calibration. I have the accelerometer on the way; but also going down the basic overall speed is too fast issue.

Here's examples of some of the issues:  Gray is the Mk3, blue and beige the Core One. All PLA.

The blue Gridfinity boxes are different settings, slowest speed/accel, stock structural, slow accel.
