Printing PA with Nylon build plate fails nozzle cleaning and bed levelling every time.
Hi. I have tried to print PA with stock nozzle and with Obsidian nozzle but it fails every time. I cant get anything going. I really do not what to do. I have printed fine with PLA and PETG but PA is just not working.I have no idea what to try.

Is your filament dry? PA has to be printed from a dryer while drying or from a dry box immediately after drying.

Hi. I dried it in a Polydryer and left it going whilst printing. Tech support said to try without filament and it made progress but still failed bed levelling. It all seems so on the edge.

@hyiger so PA6 is more hygroscopic than PA12, but less likely to warp…is that right ?

More likely to warp than PA12. PA6 can absorb up to 3% of it's weight in water whereas PA12 is 0.3% (if I remember that right). I've printed lots of both and if you remove CF from the equations PA6 is stiffer than PA12 and it's cheaper. PA12 is better used where you need (slightly) flexible and liquid resistant parts. PA12 is definitely more impact resistant (I had a parachute failure on a high-powered rocket so can attest to this).
I wouldn't use PA6 for parts that need dimensional accuracy unless you anneal them and then water treat them which is a major PITA. I've been using Siraya Tech PPA which is much better for this.
