Pin Holes

Hello,

I am attempting to print a lightbox for a birthday gift. Before printing the entire thing, I wanted to print a test part to ensure everything printed properly. Upon inspecting the test part I noticed these pin holes in the attached (picture 1). I also noticed that there is another section that does not look like it extruded properly (picture 3). While I am not new to 3D printing, I am new to PrusaSlicer and the CORE One. I am using VOXEL PLA, standard .04 nozzle, and the factory .20mm structural print setting. My filament has been dried, and is stored in a cereal dry box with desiccant. The hygrometers both read 20% humidity. The lightbox was designed in Fusion and put a .2 mm fillet on all applicable corners. I printed two test parts (one with door closed, one with door open) with identical results. Does anyone have any advice on how to remedy these issues? Thank you in advance!

You didn't say how many layers are involved. But initial thoughts are a slight under extrusion - filament multiplier could be set a tad higher. You might try reducing elephant foot comp, not sure how that will affect gap fill, but is one of the levers available. The others are retraction settings...

Thank you for your reply Tim. The test part is 3 layers thick. When I got home I adjusted the extrusion multiplier from 1 to .9 (picture 1). The problem was a little worse so I went to 1.1 (picture 2) and it really improved the pin holes. I might have some slight adjusting left to do (had a little more stringing than usual), but your advice really helped. Thank you again for your prompt reply!
