Matte black PETG -- any recommendations?

I need to print some button (switch) caps for a re-creation of a vintage piece of hardware: Matte black cylinders with inlaid lettering on the front surface. I don't want to use PLA since these will be handled a lot, and the back-end of the cap needs to be reasonably robust -- it guides the plunger movement and has some thickness constraints .

So I am looking for matte black PETG, or a "better" matte filament. I can't use filaments with added fibers since the caps need to be printed with a 0.25 mm nozzle (or 0.2 mm with INDX going forward), to get a good definition of the inlaid letters.

The choice of matte PETG is quite limited, and the reviews (where available) are very mixed. Does anyone have a proven recommendation? Many thanks!

RE:

PLA is actually the better choice for detail. PETG tends to get stringy at that resolution. You could give this a try: Pro PCTG, Matte Black I have a roll of it in red (haven't tried any other colors yet). Once it's dialed-in, it prints well and gives better detail than PETG.

Thanks! I hope to get away with PETG regarding the detail, since it's really only the bottom layer (front face of the buttons) which is critical. And I would like to get the increased tensile strength over PLA, to get robust guides for the plungers. I have never used PCTG -- will give it a try!

The only reason I haven't used this as my goto filament is it's more expensive than generic PETG (but then the same as Prusament). It's great for outdoor stuff since it's easier to print and warps a lot less than ASA. You can also leave it out like PLA and not have to pop it in the dryer as often as PETG.
