Core One - Outer Perimeter layer defect - ASA

I have a couple of prints now that have a strange outer perimeter defect partway through the print. Pictures below.  It's the only defect on the print and I'm not sure why it is happening.  On the first print, it has the same defect but in a different location and on a different layer.

I'm running dried (10%) ASA at 265C.  Running 10% fans.  3 Perimeters, 0.2mm Layer height.  For Horizontal Shells, 5 Top solid layers and 3 Bottom layers.

It doesn't look like it's through the layers, the inside is clean. In the area that is failing, it's 5 layers thick.

I ran the same print on my MK4S in an enclosure with the same type of ASA and am not seeing these defects.

Any recommendations on what this may be and how to fix it?

RE:

It's probably a slicer problem, I'm having the same problem on my XL.

RE:

Also downgrade to 2.9.2 Prusa slicer and see if your problem will go away.

Awesome, thank you! I'll give it a shot. I'll add the files to the github as well.

Unfortunately the artifact still present on 2.9.2.  It was worth a shot though!

I found it on another core one asa print as well, different design, less complicated part.

Do you have the opportunity to print this with a different ASA filament?

I've seen these blobs occasionally. I don't think they're related to firmware or slicer version. Usually disappeared for me when I dried the filament overnight. (And yes, I know you said you dried the filament).

Jan - So far I've tried two different rolls of the same type of polymaker ASA filament. It's the only filament I've used.

FoxRun - Ok, I will give that a shot.  I have been drying until it hits 10% but I have not been doing overnight dries.  At this point, worth a shot.  Starting to get worried that all of my ASA prints on the Core One are going to have these blemishes that are not present on my other MK4s printers.

Okay, thank you!I would try something else, even if it sounds time-consuming.Print a test cylinder without a lid, preferably in spiral vase mode. Then start printing and watch your nozzle to see if filament accumulates. If there is too much filament on the nozzle, it may settle in the spot you showed us in the photo.
