I think you said you fed it from the top, how did you suspend the roll/etc., on the top?

Right, I didn't mention that. I use a side spool holder and unspool filament from it so it didn't have mush drag. That's it, I just let filament hang on the side of the printer.
But Yes, I think I will design a magnetic spool holder that can be stuck on the top of the printer and remove when not needed.

I am printing 30D with a Bambu now, using a plywood platform and the polybox like I uploaded there. Not foolproof as it can free spool, but I will work on that too. It is easy to adapt that setup to the Core One.
As for why I don't print those on the Prusa, is the reasons you have outlined here.

I am using the Kit's core one and cheap TPU.
I am a beginner user and will share information with others like me.
My solution was to print the part from

(ABS infill 40%) and replace the part, and I reduced the printing speed to 70%.
To lower the printing speed, I added 'M220 S70 ; Will reduce all speeds in gcode to 70%' at the very bottom of the 'Start g-code' in Prusa Slicer. This has the same effect as lowering the speed to 70% with the knob during printing. (To set it to 60%, please change S70 to S60.)
Please note that all printing speeds will be at 70%
I haven't made any other modifications (I am supplying filament using a tube).

Separately, for what it’s worth I was able to print a full pair of kid sized Croc shoes using NinjaFlex (85A) on my stock core one. It required feeding the filament in by hand at the top of the nextruder after uncoupling the Bowden tube there.
I used the stock prusaslicer profile for Ninjaflex, (except lowered deretraction speed), and loosened idlers a lot.

Didn't you see my post on previous page? I explained what I did to manage to print 60A TPU, and this a one of the upgrade needed.

I am doing this to simplify things without complicated settings. So, should I just write it in Firaments>Custom G-code>Start G-code?

I agree with this. I usually do this with the MVS setting in the filament profile. and under overrides I usually decrease retraction and detraction speeds to like 15. With the bogie mods though the retraction/detraction changes might not be necessary. I only started doing these to avoid the filament getting wrapped around the extruder gear. With no extra play inside the extruder it might be possible to leave those settings alone. But if you eliminate any drag in the filament path it comes down to slow and hot.

I've found that I can feed TPU into the Nextruder by taking out the bowden tube and feeding into the Nextruder. Sometimes I actually need to open the side latch and get it around the gear. Once I figured that out, it generally prints really well. Well, that and the fact that I need to dry the living hell out of the TPU prior to printing...
Still, it's a real PITA in general and I wish someone would come up with a more user friendly solution for the Core One and other printers.

yeah, when I got my XL and tried to print flex on it, the first thing I had to do is take out the ball bearing of the side filament sensors. They created far too much drag. Prusa should be pretty good at this by now. Flex seems to be an afterthought. I'm still pretty early on the coreone journey but mods it should be ok. I still have another core one upgrade kit in the box and I'm waiting to upgrade the other MK4S until I'm sure I can print everthing I need to print on the first core one. All my printers now have the bogie parts installed and based on previous experience with flex and having to open the extruder to remove filament wrapped around the extruder gear, I think there's a good chance most of the tpu woes are gone. I still think there's a good amount of drag in the filament path so I might be doing some of the other filament sensor mods and, as others have stated, trying to bypass the sensors altogether. I had two sainsmart(92A) prints fail(prior to the bogie parts upgrade) 2h in to the print. this happened twice with the filament getting bound up inside the extruder. I hope to try the same print again today so I'll see if the bogie parts help.

There is a part for the Nextruder that prevents filament from getting trashed and bunching up behind the gear in the print head.
I printed that using PC to fix that.

That is extremely helpful... as I've had the Nextruder chew up some BASF PLA and just mess up my print head, requiring full disassembly.

Doing that for the XL on 5t took me some time yesterday. I've not had a chance to do any prints with it, but I did print with the mod installed on the two smaller printers(core one and mk4s) and that seems to greatly improve things. I installed new hardened steel high-flow nozzles at the same time so this was an effort for 7 toolheads lol

they turned pretty good. I only printed pc-cf for the first time recently when I had to reprint one of the pulleys during the first coreone upgrade. It helps having multiple printers on hand for such things. Still waiting to upgrade the second mk4S though. The upgrade is sitting here still in the box lol I'm waiting to see how this core one shakes out first. These upgrade parts will be a requirement though. Based on my experience with tpu and prusa printers over the past couple years I can't see how having less play inside the extruder can be a bad thing. I'm currently printing some sainsmart tpu(92a) on the mk4s with these parts installed. Previously, even on the MK4 this print would fail several hours in. This will be a good test. If it works on the MK4S I'm going to look at doing it on the core one. I have a couple of them to print so we'll see.

Prusa is the only brand I've ever had. I'm a creature of habit. I know there's going to be a bit of pain. I won't have a bambulabs even if it claims to have an "offline mode" lol. I work for an ISP and I would find it pretty interesting to do some packet captures to see what your hd2 is doing in offline mode. I realize in this day and age that even my phone is surveilling me for apple, and my desktop is surveiling me for microsoft. However, the chinese government can at any time tell bambulabs they have to include something in their printers. I'd rather not have a device sitting on my home network available to them. It's the same reason I don't install things like tiktok etc.
The other thing that keeps me on prusa currently is the ability to modify/enhance/whatever. And building the thing from scratch also helps me understand what can fail and what parts need to be maintained.

no I bought my core one for exactly the reasons that people don’t buy BAMBU printers… The only reason I have the other one is I got a 50% off certificate from a computer store and figured if I didn’t like the damn thing, I could sell it and make a profit.
that being said the only thing I’m printing TPU is my core one… Because it just works once you figure out what you have to do.
and you cannot beat the open source aspect of much of the core one and of course the community support such as dealing with VFA or for that matter printing TPU.
not to mention the fact that I should be able to upgrade the thing with the next big upgrade come down
oh, and I absolutely ran a packet sniffer against the H2 D… And have blocked it from being able to get through the two firewalls it’s behind… I have 100% no faith in that thing not trying to phone home because I was never able to get it work with the existing firewall rules, and policies - which tells me that it was trying to phone home and required access to some part of their cloud that was not in the EU or North America.
