Best solution to remove filament stuck in tube?
What is the best way to remove filament stuck in the tube during a spool change?
Details:
I was printing the "Lighthouse without Bench" sample. Boy is that big. I thought I had enough filament, but no, I ran out mid print. Fortunately I had a new spool of filament.
The problem I ran into, was the rump end of filament was stuck in the supply tube. I suppose I must have broken off the end that was supposed to stick out by the spool.
So what is the most effective way to remove the stuck filament?
In my case, I released the print head tensioner; unscrewed the tube connection at the print head. Pulled out the remaining filament. Then pushed new filament through to make sure the tube was clear.
Is there a better way?

You don't need to unscrew the Bowden tube adapter. Pull up the Bowden bend elbow, push down on the on the retaining ring around the tube adapter, then pull the tube out. Then unlatch the idler to pull out the filament.

I tried that first. My 'push down' on the retaining ring was insufficient to be able to pull the tube out. 🤣
So I went to 'Plan B'
You don't need to unscrew the Bowden tube adapter. Pull up the Bowden bend elbow, push down on the on the retaining ring around the tube adapter, then pull the tube out. Then unlatch the idler to pull out the filament.
