Prusa Connect reports printer offline
Prusa Connect reports that my CoreOne+ is offline but on the printer screen, Network status confirms it is online and WiFi is connected. I also upgraded to the latest version of firmware 6.5.3 but it says "Firmware deprecated, upgrade to 6.5.3 . What's going on?
PS: The image insert feature is useless, it crops my picture and doesn't let me delete the images uploaded to the gallery.
RE: Prusa Connect reports printer offline
Now it's even worse, I tried deleting my CoreOne from Prusa Connest and re-enter it. But now it says it already exists and refuses to add it... even though it doesn't list it. Now I'm totally lost with this thing. Any help here? Thisd is a brand new machine I just finished assembling and already it's giving me trouble
RE: Prusa Connect reports printer offline
Ok I got it... That audio message "WiFI connection unsuccessful" was coming from the Buddy Cam and not from the printer itself. I hooked up the CoreOne with an Ethernet cable and redid the Prusa connect procedure and now all is well. Also the camera is setup but it's fixed images only. Have to get an SD card in it to enable streaming. Man this setup is complicated.
Now on to fix the toolhead filament sensor problem: it won't let me calibrate - says there's filament in there but it's empty. I disassembled the extruder gear set, removed the spring and ball assembly and cleaned everything with IPA to make sure there was no debris in there but no joy. Still getting the error. So now it's either the Hall sensor board or a damaged cable or the Love board itself.
And to think I got a Prusa to make things simple and easy... 🤣
