Prusa connect registration due to Refused or Network Error

Hi all,

Recently, I bought the Core One+ kit, and the assembly went smoothly. However, since I am placing the printer in the research lab on a university campus, it cannot use the campus Wi-Fi that requires a username and password. Instead, I created a mobile hotspot with my computer, and managed to connect the printer to the hotspot. The Wi-Fi status shows the printer is online, but registration with Prusa Connect keeps failing. The reason is either "Refused" or "Network Error".

This is really frustrating because I also ordered the Buddy Camera, but it seems I need to register the printer with Prusa Connect before I can monitor it through the camera.

I suspected it might be due to security settings on the campus Wi-Fi, since that is ultimately what the printer is connected to. Therefore, I have also tried creating a mobile hotspot with my phone, using the cellular network instead of the campus Wi-Fi, but the result was the same: Registration failed due to "Refused" or "Network Error".

I have also noticed that the printer frequently disconnects from the hotspot, almost once every minute or two (it disappears from the connected devices list). This, plus the fact that the registration error message alternates between those two, makes me wonder if this is a hardware issue with the Wifi module. Has anyone experienced similar problems and found a solution?

The firmware version is 6.5.3+12780

Thanks.
