problems with resume after pause

Wondering if anyone has paused a print yet and then re started it...   I had a PETG print and in one of the supports the PETG got a small defect.. so I paused it and just snipped off the small PETG pieces that didn't lay down right..    When I restarted the bed came up and it started to print but the print head is about .1mm to low.. so it is scrapping the existing print now... I am going to try to do a test print and pause it a few times and see if I get the same behavior.. just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

I suspect you have a warping problem.  Check the base of the print is flat.

Cheerio,

RE: problems with resume after pause

There are a few different people posting about this same issue.  I suspect maybe there is something going on with the firmware, or some issue with the z lead screws as there are multiple people seemingly having issues with theirs, and odd steps in the sides of their prints.

The first thing I'd try is lubricating the z lead screws good and then re homing the  the z and trying again.

RE:

I had this problem too the other day, except it was during the first layer, so the bed came up too high and the nozzle etched my brand new satin sheet.

Reeeeally not too happy about that.

I have the same problem! I raised an issue in github.

Also same issue posted in the other forum: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-core-one-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/core-one-doesnt-do-a-good-job-with-pauses

Github has been updated with an internal ticket and possible fix for this issue in a future firmware!

Yep same issues here.  Definitely a firmware issue.    Can’t believe this passed prusa QA

There is a fix coming as stated on the github. Some things simply aren't caught/tested for in QA and not known until  more people get their hands on the product.

Ouch, and I was already wondering what happened to my print. I'm waiting for the firmware update.

RE:

I've got the same issue on my machine, so no warping issue at all, i was using PETG. BTW. talking about issues, firmware is still full of flaws, hope they will fix it, for example dead by homing, sometimes it takes minutes, after reset everything works as normal. I understand it is an early version even if it's final.
