Printing via Wire
Long time reader, first time caller... Just for curiosity's sake, is there a way to print with a Core One over a cable? I've convinced my IT department to let me use a MK3S+ in a healthcare setting because we can run it over USB via Pronterface as a portable program, and am curious before we officially pull the trigger on a Core One to make things a bit more accessible to our users - documentation seems a bit opaque on the manuals, and I can't quite tell if this is still possible via either CAT5 hardline or one of the USB-C ports. If anyone has any experience on this front, any input would be greatly appreciated!

I work with my Core One serial over the USB, works fine. Use the lower USB port, just above the WiFi module.
RE:
It has an Ethernet port if that's what you're asking. Mine is wired and works great, never set up wifi.
Just realized you asked about MK3S in the Core One forum; I'm unsure if that has an Ethernet port or not.

It does not have an ethernet port, but it does have a USB port that you can use with octoprint.

Since there's already some confusion:
You're currently using an mk3s via USB-cable and would like to buy a Core One, to use it via USB-cable too (one of the USB-C ports) or via a patch-cable from a laptop/pc directly into the Core One?
So basically: the Core One is not allowed to connect to a router, correct?
I sadly don't know if that's possible, but I'll try to connect it via USB-C and if that doesn't work, find a patch-cable (crossed) and plug it into my PC.

Precisely, thank you Raaz! Apologies for any confusion on the wording, I know it's a weird ask.
(Mostly asking because I know it's possible on the MK3S+, which our IT department is cool with because we can run it both network-less and flash media-less, and it might be a total sticking point to try and figure out a secure flash drive or something to get files over to it)
RE:
Ask your IT department about running it in LAN mode. It does not need access to the internet (to Prusa Connect). You can use it in local network with Prusa Link.
