Interesting to see what the buffer design for the Core One will be.  I have tried all kinds and back with the Prusa Design for the MK4.

If you Zip the files you can add more  files in the zipfile

I think its what they are aiming for with the official release. They have an image in their January update that says

"The setup portrayed above, the one we’ll be offering, is very close to how MMU3 works with the MK4S, down to details such as the length of the PTFE to the print head. "

In the image, they have the original buffer on the side and hidden behind the new top "dome" is the MMU3. They must have mounted it somehow so the buffer tubes go up the back and the output PTFE is the same original length as they had it before. I think they must have made a new top cover that the MMU3 mounts on top of. Mine is more to the back and I've just reduced my PTFE length to 480mm and I think thats my limit so I'm not stretching it as it homes near the front. I'll try and make some top cover where I can mount the MMU3, but thats for another day. Mine is working great for my needs right now.

I'll see what Prusa comes out with right away here and maybe I can just print a new top cover or something. 

Here's my current print of some Hueforge. With PLA and PETG, I don't really need a top cover.

Thank you. I have now zipped my Core ONE + MMU3 start and end custom G-codes. I modified from the one earlier and added a longer purge line like I had with the MK4S + MMU3. There was an initial purge of E36 with a X of -90 instead of just E4 to fully ensure the inserted filament is ready to go and the previous is purged.

G0 E5 X235 Z0.2 F500 ; purge
G0 X145 E36 F500 ; purge
G0 X135 E4 F650 ; purge
G0 X125 E4 F800 ; purge
G0 X122 Z0.05 F8000 ; wipe, move close to the bed
G0 X119 Z0.2 F8000 ; wipe, move quickly away from the bed

Cool to see you have had the same struggles as I did!

Glad to see you got it to work. I'll check today if there are any differences in our start/ end scripts

Thanks for sharing the gcode, my Core One now runs with MMU3 as well.

Are you using the stock buffer solution?
The filament has already become tangled in mine.
Due to the long tube between the MMU and the print head (~480mm), the filament protrudes too far back in the buffer.
As a result, one filament has gotten wrapped between another when being fed in and blocked it.
Apart from that, the first attempts went without a problem.

I used this and extended it. I’m not a huge fan of the loading method since it gets caught in the buffer. But it works great once I do the initial preload

I got my MMU fully working now in COREBOXX with filament rewinders that use the back drive power from the MMU motor. 

Had to reprogram the MMU registers, but havee not had a single buffering tangle or error since.

I am struggling however with getting a good filament tip to form. They always seem to be flat/ almost hollow, and curved to 1 side slightly.

Any tips?

Yesterday I did my first multicolor prints (two colors, PETG) with the HF nozzle (I was too lazy to change it). Not a single problem, even if the tips weren't so pretty. The quality of the print was also great and I was impressed.

I haven't saved it. I just copied the core one, added the 5 extruders, used the start/end Code from here and the stock filament profiles. Nothing fancy, Just wanted to see if it works. Got a nozzle matching error on the printer i simply ignored  😇
