Mintemp error, and changing the hotend thermistor help?

Hi! After about 15 hours of printing (all PLA), I keep getting the Mintemp error. I found that this means it's the hotend. I've just received my order of Original Prusa Hotend Thermistor XL,MK4 × 1, and I've tried to find instructions for changing it, and the best I've found is a youtube video, and the page here, all of them for previous models. Are there any instructions for changing this with the Core One? I'm quite new to 3d printing (other than resin), so anything that keeps it basic would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for any help.

First lets check the obvious...

What temperature is your workshop?

If you are printing in an unheated outhouse in Greenland or in a basement directly in line with an AC outlet then Mintemp is to be expected.

Thanks for asking! I should have included that it’s any 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The temp is showing as 0 or -2

The hotend for Mk4, XL and Core one is effectively identical 'though mounted slightly differently so the instructions for thermistor replacement will only differ very slightly.

So: The basic instructions are at  https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-hotend-thermistor-mk4-mk3-9_635632

- and if anything looks odd combine it with the instructions for converting a Mk4 into a Core one -

starting from Step 28 of: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/6-nextruder-assembly_872952#881059

If you are not confident, as you disassemble take notes or photo's of the assembly to help you reverse the process.

Cheerio,
