Latest FW upgrade broke core one load sensor

I have had my core one since last June, lots of little but resolvable problems.  However until I upgraded to latest FW, never had a problem what was not fixable.

What happens is I ran all the calibration, which I do with every FW upgrade.   It got to load cell, I did the finger tap and that is as far as I got.  best I can tell it damaged my load cell with the previous Z axis test as no matter how many times I tap the nozzel, this test fails.

Am I thinking correctly, is there some hidden thing we need to do other than download correct FW onto a USB stick, insert in printer, let it flash which it did correctly, then run calibration.  PLA is what I am running.  any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks to group.

Hey J!

Sounds like an odd issue. If you go to the sensor info tab, there should be a loadcell reading visible there. It's generally a pretty large number that slightly fluctuates. If you press on the nozzle, do you notice a notable change in the reading?

The firmware itself should likely not be related, but the above should give a lot of info to go on for the next step

Hi,

When calibration of loadcell starts, put your finger on top of nozzle, and continuously carefully increase pressure. Increasing pressure is indicated on display via progressbar until is finished. No single tap please.

RE: Latest FW upgrade broke core one load sensor

this was a odd one, new loadcell/heatsink arrive, that did fix the problem. Now with latest FW upgrade the nextruder filament detector will not pass self test. I can see the little icon lower left in the display panel during filament sensor test, if I push the spring assy it changes state which confirms its working, however even though its in the correct (right position for unloaded) or (left position for loaded), new fw will not pass test. I temporary disabled filament sensor, and printer works just fine otherwise. Is there some new procedure or mod needed for the FW update. Thanks for the help J
