Filament auto loading not working - more force needed

Note: I have the nextruder version with MMU3 "slider"

Hi,
I just finalised the upgrade from MK4s to Core One and since then I have some issue to activate auto loading.
The feature is activated, but a lot of force is needed to initiate the auto loading. I pushed the filament so hard, that the PTFE tubed was pushed out of the side sensor collar.

I reduced the force of the both screws - the tips are now side the bolt of the extruder - but still I have to move the sensor slider by hand to activate the gears.

Also, I cleaned the gears and inlet with pressured air - no help.

Is there anything else I can try?
It seems, that the angled PTFE tube is not helpful to guide the filament into the nextruder and to apply pressure.

Have you told the printer that you have done the MMU Nextruder mod?

Settings -> Hardware -> Printhead -> Nextruder

My understanding of the need to tell the printer that you have done the MMU Nextruder mod is that this will make the Nextruder gear turn while you are loading filament.  The non-MMU filament sensor is easier to trigger by simply pushing filament into the fitting, but the sensor in the MMU conversion needs the filament to actually start moving around the gear before it will move the sensor far enough to trigger it.  If the gear isn't moving, it's very difficult for the end of the filament to start sliding round the serrated gear - it CAN be done with a lot of force, but by having the gear rotate it becomes a lot easier.  This is why you have to manually begin the 'Load Filament' process from the Filament menu with the MMU Nextruder, instead of letting it start automatically by inserting filament into the fitting.

Oh yes, this make totally sense! Thanks you!

I never used the printer without MMU attached, even when using it as a single filament printer, I usually guided the filament through the MMU. Of course, there is no ball anymore to activate the gears.
I appreicate your help!
