Difference between the z axis Right and Left lead screws.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the right and left z axis lead screws?
Assembling my core one, I bent one of the Left z axis screws, so I ordered a new one and when I got it I realized I ordered the a Right instead of a Left one.
I know looking at it the only physical difference i see is the longer cable and the markings for right and left, but idk if there is more to it than that.

AFAIK, the only difference is the cable length, but get a couple opinions! I'd certainly also try correcting the bent one.

That's a trick question ... none ... if you're lucky.

One has a longer cable than the other. But if you now have two with long cables then you are fine.

Yeah the longer cable isn't a problem. Its the lucky part i'm worried about. 😉 I just wanted to be sure it would work, which i think it will. I'll reach out to prusa and see what they say.
As for straightening it, i did get it really close, however when i was doing so, something inside the motor made a snap sound. Soo,, I figured i would just replace it now while i got it all apart then take the chance.

So I got ahold of someone from Prusa, and for anyone else who is wondering, they are all the same motor and screws, just the cable length is all that is different. SO i don't have to worry about that,
And as I look at how the screws are assembled in the core one, having a little bend probably wouldn't hurt, but I already ordered it now so it doesn't matter for me. Maybe if it had a large bow in the screw, than it would cause the bed to shift. But Yeah,
Thanks for the replays,
