custom filament profiles
Hello everyone, I created some custom filament profiles in the Core One (see photo), but when I send the G-code to the printer, PrusaSlicer tells me that I don’t have the right filament, and the printer says the same thing! I can continue without any issue by accepting the “warning.”
What’s the problem? I respected the temperatures in the printer, and I also respected them in PrusaSlicer… Can someone tell me where the software is getting stuck and why it shows an error message?
Thanks! (The photos are in French, sorry for those who don’t speak it! :))
RE:
When you created the profile, did you set the intended filament type in Prusa Slicer under "Filaments", "Advanced", "Filament properties", "Filament type"? The same parameter can be found also through the search box "Filament Properties: Filament type [709]".
RE: custom filament profiles
Thank you for your response. No, I didn’t do that! The problem I have is that I’m using a “PC” filament, but its maximum temperature is 260°C. However, the Prusa preset for PC on the Core One is 275°C… The PC I have probably needs to be printed more like PETG, I think… In the Core One, with the custom configuration, I don’t have a “filament type”… I’m wondering why…

Make sure you have "Normal" or "Expert" mode turned on. If you go to the Filaments tab under Advanced, you can see a dropdown for Filament type. You can select it from there.
RE: custom filament profiles
Thanks, I'll try that... 🙂
