Advanced filtration and chamber fans
Hi! Just installed my advanced filtration filter and noticed that the chamber fans don't run anymore when printing PLA. Is that expected or did I mess something up when installing?
Chamber temp is running a bit hotter in my opinion, although nothing too high but I worry about materials like PETG potentially driving temps way higher

Yeah, it's normal.
However I'd also like to simply have full control over the fans via the slicer.
The normal axial fans barely move air through a HEPA filter, but them blocking the air surely isn't more efficient.. The only reason against running them would be to not push too much air into the intake of the radial fan, but I doubt they would be able to achieve that even at 100%..
Just let us set them to a minimum speed, that isn't too loud, like 20% to get some pre-load onto the filter and help the filtration fan a little bit.

Yeah same behavior for me.
I hope the implement a firmware option to have both fans running, shouldn't be hard.

The installation instructions are quite confusing on this point, but it looks like there may be some options for changing the way the fans operate. Try playing around with different combinations of chamber fan settings vs filtration fan settings? https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-install-advanced-filtration-core-one_868297#869163
