Where to find a Satin build plate?
I live in the USA, and have my printer on order. While waiting for it to arrive, and reading the forums, it becomes clear that I would want a Satin build plate instead of the smooth one (I plan to print PETG and PLA).
In the USA, the Prusa seller is PrintedSolid.com, and they are out of stock for the Satin build plate. Looking at third party build plates on Amazon and Google, I don't see any other company listing a "Satin" plate. What are people using that is similar to Prusa's Satin plate, and are you happy with it? Or should I just wait until the Prusa Satin plate is back in stock?

I have brand new satin and textured plates that Ive never touched - I only print PLA and end up using the smooth all the time.....!

They’re my go to for parts here in the US. I ordered nickel plated copper heat blocks for my Core One from them.

A couple of things about the nickel plated copper heat blocks, they do take a little longer to reach the target temperature and since they are more massive it would be beneficial to rerun the input shaper calibration (assuming you have the accelerometer)

I’m waiting for Printed Solid to ship my accelerometer. They aren’t very good about getting orders out the door.

I just ordered this and will try it out tomorrow: BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier Hear people raving about this sheet so I'll try it out with a variety of filaments and report back in a separate thread. I'm curious how it compares to the Prusa Satin build plate in terms of first layer and finish.

PrintedSolid.com in the USA received another batch of Satin Sheets today.
I placed my order for one.
@Mike, regarding that you noticed that it takes PrintedSolid a while to ship orders, I also noticed. But it's not real bad. I placed my order for the Prusa Core One on Tuesday, and it shipped with tracking number 3 days later. Admittedly, I did contact them after 2 days and ask when it would ship, so maybe that had something to do with it? They did explain that they were growing very rapidly and hiring more people. That's a good problem to have 🙂

By the way, I looked at https://www.partsbuilt.com and they did have the plate in stock. But it was ~ $10 more and also charged shipping.
PrintedSolid.com had the plate in stock today for ~ $10 less, and free shipping.
Both of them seem to be good USA suppliers.

I ordered the GPIO board a week ago and they generated a label that day but it's been a week and the shipper still does not have possession of it. I should have just ordered directly from Prusa.

I got mine recently and adhesion is better than the satin one by Prusa. Across PLA and PETG that I've printed so far.
First layer wise both are OKish, can't really tell though because it feels like I'm having some sort of tuning issues resulting in over-extrusion.
