Use with Octoprint
Can I use the Core 1 with Octoprint?

RE: Use with Octoprint
It *appears* from what has been published so far that the electronics will be very similar (or identical) to the MK4/MK4S, so I can positively say the answer is likely somewhere between "maybe" and "probably." 🙂
RE: Use with Octoprint
As this printer isn't in the wild yet, this is an unanswerable question.
But... My suspicion is it will work with OctoPrint because it is confirmed to be the same xBuddy board. The existing 32bit boards are all using the same code base. My MK4S works well with Octoprint, so I suspect the Core ONE will work just as well.

I'm sure @sembazuru is right ... but it will not be from day one. One of the OctoPrint devs/contributors has to acquire a Core One and prepare and test a configuration for download; so expect a few weeks delay.
Cheerio,
RE: Use with Octoprint
With OctoPrint there is no configuration to download. You basically just enter the dimensions of the print bed into the printer profile. When I first had my MK4 I just used the same config as for my MK3S+ and it worked although those printers had more differences between them than the MK4/Core One have (e.g. electronics board). The Core One uses the same electronics board as the MK4S/MK4 so I would expect it to just work the same. With the MK4 there were a few things not quite working at the beginning, like pause and filament changes, but those things were fixed with later firmware updates.
