Were you able to use a voucher? Where do you enter it?
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
I am with you. I finally decided to buy one upgrade first. I am going to end up with 3-4. I have 8 minis, 1 XL, 1 Mk3S (bear), and 3 Mk4S right now. I really can’t decide what to do with the bear. I might upgrade it to a MK4S if the frame is left over from one for the MK4S. I want to keep atleast on Mk4S because I have a Prusa enclosure.
Can't decide between the kit or the conversion......

With some difficulty! So, it wasn’t just me! 😀
Ordered the Conversion Kit (with some difficulty!), and am looking forward to the experience of building.

No kidding... this was just embarrassing

Just ordered the upgrade.
A couple of months ago I built my Mk4s rather than upgrading my Mk3s+, with the view of selling the Mk3s+ to try and recoup the cost difference. Having just sold it this week, the initial recoup plan has failed miserably as it's now offsetting part of this upgrade 😀
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
I'm there too
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
You gotta get the kit so you can film another awesome assembly video for us. 🙂

Ordered my upgrade kit 5 minutes ago. 🙂
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
I ordered the conversion within the first hour this morning (plus a satin sheet), and was a bit surprised by the high shipping cost. I looked around to see if anyone else was feeling the same and found a Reddit post that described a chat session where the Prusa support person suggested going back to edit the order and re-assign shipping. When I did, the exact same fedex 5-6 day economy shipping to California was $42 less than it had been previously. 🙂 Originally it was $119. I know that the new case is heavy, but didn't expect it to be quite that high. In the end, it came down to ~$77 which is much more reasonable, especially considering my Mk4 kit was over $50, and this box will be much heavier.
I figured I'd mention it here just in case the shipping prices have adjusted for any of you as well.
I'm looking forward to another build session, and a core xy Prusa. 🙂

Add another one to your list.
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
Oops accidentally ordered 2... Hopefully arrive before Christmas...
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
I was able to order it 6 Mins after it came Online, but i don't had the possibility to add a sheet.
Problem now: I can't edit the order, there is no Option for the sheet.
So i will add it seperatly with the camera and the filter
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
Like the rest of the internet, I was there refreshing the upgrade page regularly from 10 mins before 17:00 CET. At pretty much exactly 17:00 it changed to the 'this product is temporarily unavailable' page. I didn't twig immediately, but the full self-assembly kit page seemed to be live before the upgrade kit page, so I was tempted to order the full kit (to get my place in the queue) and then switch it to the upgrade kit, but my doubts about whether Prusa would allow the switch got the better of me, and I chickened out. I don't need three printers.
But somewhere around 17:15 the upgrade kit page changed again to allow orders. I tried to order numerous times, but they kept failing - sometimes with an empty shopping cart page, sometimes when trying to load the payment page. I think at one point the server appeared to go down and come back, because I was logged out and it took a while to get logged in again.
Eventually I managed to get an order through at ~17:35. For all the failed orders I'd been careful to select the old style xLCD, but must have forgotten to do so for the one that went through, so after the initial rush, when their eshop page became a bit more responsive, I went back in and added the correct version and removed the original one, and I added a camera and a new print sheet. Based on previous experience I'm hoping my position in the queue didn't change, since the order number didn't change (and as before, it seems to be just a Unix timestamp).
35 minutes after the scheduled time (or possibly ~20 minutes after the upgrade kit actually went live?) means I'm unlikely to be in the very first batch I think, and given that their eshop was well and truly overrun there must be a huge number of orders in those first minutes. Oh well - I did my best!
Did anyone else see something other than 'product temporarily unavailable' immediately after 17:00?
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
I was seeing the empty shopping cart page issue at sometime around 21:40 CET, I did manage to place upgrade kit order after a couple of tries then.
RE: Unofficial MK4S to Core One upgrade waiting list
While we are waiting is there a list of components that's included? For instance does the conversion kit come with a Core One branded build plate?

This was a real shit show. Worse than what I've seen at prior product launches. From pages not loading, the login button taking you to the main printer page, carts emptying themselves, PayPal not loading, credit card not getting accepted. Just beautiful. Assuming they're not using a web server and ordering system run by a high school student, the positive spin is that it probably indicates an unprecedented interest by the community. Timing certainly couldn't have been more fortuitous, with BL stumbling with their firmware issues.
