RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Did you add any additional options to the kit? Any other parts etc?
I thought shipping was getting quicker, but 7 month! Holy cow!
Hopefully it will ship in the next week or so! Fingers crossed!
I forgot to add - I actually ordered and paid 2nd February 2025. So now its nearer to 7 months waiting time.
I will post a picture of the party and cake at the appropriate time! (see in my post above for more details....)
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
If I know Prusa usually the delays in the first 6 months are caused by very minor modifications going on when they start getting real world feedback from large numbers of users and have to fix issues that rear up. If I remember right there were a lot of delays to the releases of both the mk4 and even the mk3 and people waiting months for things like steel sheets which were quite new at the time. (Prusa were the first to introduce flexible sheets in a full retail printer or kit if I remember right).
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
As I was ordering for delivery to the UK, I thought I would everything in one go, it saves shipping and any clearance fees.
I don't really mind the delay, as you pointed out and I had guessed anyway, Prusa had modified things, updated instructions etc.
I think they could of sent a note to those waiting on the delay -especially as they had got paid upfront.
An yway, it does not really matter to me, as I am not 3D printing life and death parts.
The biggest worry is that my MK4S is now working well, and I am just about to break it.....to upgrade it to the Core One and that's a bit scary....
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I think I would say so as mine was 5 months to the date. It is really sad with the pre-orders and seeing people ordering within the last month already getting them.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I will say I do like the enclosure but the printing is not as good IMO out of the box built system. I have had almost zero issues printing with my MKs4 and after the conversion I have Z issues and have had so many failed prints to it and still looking to see how to adjust this.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Follow-up from 29 July. After cancelling my waiting list order, I saw Printed Solid had the build kits in stock, and received it in a few days.
I finished building it and tuned the belts on it last week with the updated tuning webpage, and wow this thing smokes my poor old Mk3.5.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I've joined the queue with a kit order placed today. I was surprised to see the suggested lead time is no longer on the website as 3-4 weeks, but reduced to 2-3 weeks. I've ordered all my accessories separately and they've already arrived - just a spool of orange and galaxy black PETG additional to the kit on this order so let's see how that goes.
I'll report back on August 14
FWIW the 2-3 week expectation initially set was well met for me. ETA initially changed to 3 weeks + 3 days however shipment left on 14th day at the early end of initial window.

I called support. Within 2 minutes they had adjusted my order and now it’s going to be delivered on Thursday.
well done, in my case. I didn’.t mind the wait and hopefully the upgrade will go well.
